By signing up for the Bumiterra Collective, you agree to the following:

  1. Pilot Plot Participation

    • This program is for the pilot 1-hectare plot, allocated for the collective’s shared restoration efforts.

    • Commitment Requirements:

      • Individuals must commit to a minimum of 3 months.

      • Micro-SMEs must commit to a minimum of 1 year.

    • Micro-SMEs are required to provide proof of status, which includes:

      • Annual revenue of USD100,000 or less.

      • Fewer than 50 employees.

      • Additional supporting documentation (e.g., financial statements, business registration) will be requested for verification. Failure in proving the MSME status will lead to automated cancellation of the participation.

  2. Payments

    • Payments are non-refundable once restoration begins, as funds are allocated to essential restoration activities. Restoration is deemed to have begun upon land preparation, seedling procurement, or any preparatory activity carried out on behalf of the collective.

    • Contributions do not grant ownership or exclusive rights to the land or its resources.

  3. Shared Initiative and Metrics

    • The pilot plot restoration is a collective effort. All progress metrics (e.g., trees planted, carbon sequestered, land restored) represent the contributions of the entire collective.

    • Individual contributors cannot claim ownership of specific metrics.

    • Bumiterra reserves the right to revoke participation if a contributor is found to misrepresent or exploit the program for misleading environmental claims or non-aligned marketing purposes.

  4. Progress Updates

    • Regular updates on restoration progress will be shared via Bumiterra’s registry platform.

    • External factors (e.g., weather, terrain) may affect outcomes; transparency will be prioritized at every stage.

    • Use of the Registry platform is subject to its separate Terms of Use. Participants are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of any personal or organizational information displayed.

  5. Cancellation

    • Cancellation can only be requested after the commitment period ends.

    • Cancellations must be requested no later than 5 working days before the renewal date.

    • Data will be taken down from the registry within 1 week of confirmed cancellation.

  6. Data Privacy

    • Personal data will only be used for program-related communication and updates.

    • Your information will never be shared or sold to third parties without explicit consent.

    • Participation in the Collective implies consent for limited use of your name or logo, strictly in the context of showcasing program engagement (see Section 7 below).

  7. Recognition and Attribution

    • Bumiterra may feature your name or logo as part of content highlighting participation in the Collective — such as on our website, social media, newsletters, presentations, or reports.

    • These features may be used to communicate impact, engage new participants, and promote the values of the program, but will never suggest endorsement of any unrelated product or service.

    • Participants may request to opt out of such public acknowledgment by submitting a written request.

  8. Force Majeure

    • Bumiterra is not liable for delays or deviations in restoration progress due to force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather, fires, regulatory shifts, or natural disasters.

By submitting your details, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions for the Bumiterra Collective.
